HP ENVY 6055 -- control panel lights

I just purchased this new HP ENVY 6055 and noticed after setup that the only control panel light that is lit is the WIFI.   The others are not lighted and I have to use a flashlight to even tell what buttons are available more or less what they do.  The manual does show the button functions but I can't even see the buttons without using a flashlight.

Is there a way to turn on the control panel button lights?

Are there any sticky decals available to show which buttons perform said function?

I tried the latest firmware update but my printer was already up-to-date.  Perhaps a firmware update is needed to trun the button light on.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

This printer is designed as such - it's the modern Smart Contextual User Interface.  The control panel will light up only when there is a need, for example, when you load a document into the document feeder (for the HP Envy Pro 6455)  or open the scanner lid (like your printer), it will light up the "Copy" menu.

Send me a flash light if you can't fix the control panel button illumination. It seems to be backward illumination logic.  An alternative would be button sticky decals.
