How to connect IMAC running on IOS 10.13.6 to HP Smart Tank 7602 to scan items to the computer from the printer. I am able to print documents on the IMAC to the printer, BUT NOT ABLE TO SCAN DOCUMENTS FROM THE PRINTER TO THE COMPUTER.

To connect your iMac to the HP Smart Tank 7602 printer for scanning, you can follow these steps:

Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your HP Smart Tank 7602 printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iMac.

Install HP Easy Scan: If you haven't already, download and install the HP Easy Scan app from the Mac App Store. This app allows you to scan documents and photos from your HP printer to your Mac.

Open HP Easy Scan: Open the HP Easy Scan app on your iMac. You can find it in your Applications folder or by searching for it in Spotlight (Command + Space and then type "HP Easy Scan").

Select Scanner: In the HP Easy Scan app, click on the "Scanner" drop-down menu and select your HP Smart Tank 7602 printer from the list of available scanners.

Adjust Scan Settings: Choose your scan settings such as color mode, resolution, and file type according to your preferences.

Place Document on Scanner: Place the document or photo you want to scan face-down on the scanner glass or face-up in the document feeder (if available).

Start Scan: Click on the "Scan" button in the HP Easy Scan app to start scanning. The scanned item will be saved to your Mac.

View Scanned Item: Once the scan is complete, you can view the scanned item within the HP Easy Scan app or in the location where you chose to save it on your Mac.

Repeat as Needed: Repeat the above steps for any additional items you want to scan.

Disconnect and Exit: Once you have finished scanning, you can disconnect your HP Smart Tank 7602 printer from your iMac and exit the HP Easy Scan app.
