Dose the HP ENVY 5640 Wireless  printer scan multiple pages into one PDF document?

Yes it does.  You just to set the settings correctly.   Have you clicked on every tab and every + sign to expand all the multiple options?

 

More/Destination.  Click on the + sign for File Type PDF.   Uncheck Separate File for Each Scanned Page.
