Hello, I have a Trio 8800 with a skype for business account.
I wanted to know if it was posible to share content from a laptop that is in the same room as the Trio 8800 towards another skype user connected in another building without having to enter the call as a 3rd participant but sharing through the trio device.
I tried the polycom content app but I think this only works locally to share content on the trio for people in the same room and not to share content through skype to someone that is not in the room.
Thanks!

So what you do is schedule the Trio like it's a person in Outlook, booking a Skype Meeting. They will be a participant in the meeting. So when you are in the conference room come time for the meeting, click on Meetings button, click Join, and the Trio will be connected to that conference call.
The laptop in the room will ALSO connect to that same Skype meeting. It's probably your laptop, and since your organized the meeting, it will already be on your calendar. Then the other person joins the meeting, and there are now three participants: You + Other Person + Trio in conference room.
The Trio, being connected to a Visual+ or Pro, you then just Share Content on your laptop using your Skype account in the phone call, just like you would anywhere else. This will then display the content to the other person, as well as the big screen in your conference room that is connected to the Visual+/Pro.
Make sense?
