I assume they do as our phones update by themselves and if we install a newer version from 'Software available at Polycom Hosted server' under the Software Upgrade option on the VVX then it revets back by itself.
So phone are now at 5.4.1.17653 which is not a version on the drop down list.
Does anyone have any details as to what Microsoft do here and where can I get info on their VVX versions and what is in them?
....and before suggesing I should call Microsoft, tried that and support have no idea!
Really just trying to undstand what's going on.
Thank you

Hello dMb,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
Most of your previous post's => here <= have never been followed up by yourself or marked as solution provided if applicable.
This does not help other users and may cause people no longer replying to yourself
In addition the community's Skype FAQ contains this post here:
Feb 02, 2016 Question:How can I prevent a Polycom VVX Business Media Phone to be downgraded / upgraded automatically via Skype for Business and/or Office365?
Resolution:Download, unpack and import the attached lyncDeviceUpdateEnabledOFF.zip
Our partner Microsoft certifies our Firmware and is responsible on hosting this on their Platform. I suggest you work with them or use the above FAQ.
For anything else please log a support ticket via your Polycom reseller.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
