Hi All,
We recently installed Polycom Trio 8800 Visual +. We are experiencing poor video quality on the other side. I understand that Trio has very poor limitation in terms of the camera it supports - Only 1 and that is Logitech C930e. Polycom unforunately hasn't changed it - Last time I checked.
Current Software Version: 5.4.5.9658
Attached is what our camera and video processing looks like so would be great if you can suggest any changes or solutions

Hello hrc_sam,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
A couple of things:
- The Trio was never advertised with a different camera so I am unsure why you think this is a limitation. The camera used is capable of 1080 video and is Skype for Business SVC compatible
- The software version you are using is outdated. Please upgrade to UC Software 5.5.2
- Is this a Point to Point call or AVMCU?
- Is this receiving or sending Video and what is the far end?
As you can see by the above there are many unanswered questions and I suggest you get this into your reseller so we can try and help you the most effective and fastest route.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

since Trio UC Software 5.5.3 we also support the Polycom EagleEye MSR PTZ camera for thr Polycom Trio 8800.
