Hi there,
So it looks like Microsoft will be moving forward with the depreciation of Skype For Business in favor of Teams.
I am sure this is going to be a very gradual change, but how will this work with Teams?
How does Polycom feel about this?

Hello kamidon@rlhfp.com,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
As this only affects the name of the product which we support, and to my personal knowledge nothing else, I am not sure how to respond or how to express as nothing really changes.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

According to Microsoft, they are getting rid of Skype for Business.
I should have been more specific...I'm sorry about that.
Are there plans to create new software for Polycom phones to connect with Microsoft Teams with Office 365 cloud PBX or Skype For business server (on-premise)? Or I wonder if there will be a need for that.

Hello kamidon@rlhfp.com,
I am unable to comment on any future releases or plans as this would require a NDA on your end.
Best Regards

Hello kamidon@rlhfp.com,
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Aug 09, 2016 Question:Why can Polycom not discuss future software Versions within the Community?
Explanation:Polycom, as a US based company, cannot share any future release dates or new features due the requirement of a non disclosure agreement / NDA prior to this.Via the medium of a community forum we are unable to do this.
The same is applicable to everything else aka our business relationship to our Partner Microsoft and any of their plans or developments.
Best Regards
