Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx.

Initially, the display had a problem at the bottom where my taskbar was being cut off and I was unable to read the date and time. I got around this issue by changing the taskbar location to "top".

However, after having my laptop on during the entire night, I woke up this morning to see this dark coloration on the lower portion of the display. Any text or image viewed under this cover is very blurry and near illegible.

Now if I change the taskbar location to "bottom", the taskbar is not visible at all.

Any help or advice, please?
