Product: Elitebook 840 G6 7YM33ES
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I bought a HP LT4112 UMTS 4G Broadband Module and assembled it to my new Elitebook 840 G6 7YM33ES.
Bios says that this module is not supported.
After having my laptop running for an hour, the module pops up in the system. Also cellular options are available and I am able to connect to the Broadband Network.
I was wondering, how this is possible.
Can I somehow (with some workaround) get the module work from the beginning after starting my laptop?
Cheers and thanks!
Jan
