My wife's HP Probook 470 G5, cannot be charged and the battery is now completely discharged. Before that happened, I did manage to get the following information from the BIOS:
HP Probook 470 G5 i7-8550 @1.8GHzProd ID: 3CX10UT
[personal information removed]
What happens is as follows:
When I plug in the power adapter, the power LED flashes 8 times and then a short 9th flash. Then it goes dark. The battery is completely run down now so it will not even start and I cannot get into the BIOS to run the diagnostics on the power components.
What do you suggest?
