Elite x2 1012 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Running "HP Software Setup" when installing Windows 10x64 I noticed that the "Virtual Buttons" driver is not checked in the list of drivers to install.

Why isn't this option checked? Is this driver redundant?

I'd like to know:

To which regard exactly does the Elite x2 1012 G1 behave different when this driver gets installed compared to when it's not installed?

(I already know the standard driver description. However, this description is to general and of no help. I'm interested in spotting the hardware in the Elite x2 1012 G1 to which this driver exactly applies. How can I tell from observing the behaviour of the machine whether this driver has been installed? Please give an example.)
