My HP Smart app suddenly will not launch. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, putting the app and associated folders in trash and emptying, shutting down and rebooting, and searching forums with no solution. When I try to download the app to reinstall, nothing happens. This is after multiple problems with both the software and the DeskJet 3755 printer. For example, the printer routinely fails to connect to the software, documents are not grabbed for scanning or don't scan straight, or the "scan unavailable" message appears.  Even when the app works, it takes several minutes to launch. After hours of searching online, HP will not even get on the phone until I waste more time here. When I entered the S/N, the website said "warranty expired", even though I bought the printer in Jan. of this year with an advertised warranty of one year.  When I bought the printer, the "technician" with whom I spoke failed to properly copy my address, and I never received the unit, necessitating multiple phone calls just to actually get the product for which I had already paid. HP's "customer service" is a disgrace.  Meanwhile, I have no working means of printing or scanning, and no apparent interest from HP in standing behind their products.
