how can i USE USB flash memory with Slate 21? See , download, save files from and to the device and or to the flash memory .

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Using the Search Function here on the Forum, the results were not very encouraging.  Most users report difficulty after the KitKat upgrade.

 

I can only suggest installing a modern File Manager app from the Play Store, such as File Manager HD.  See if it can read/play files from the USB drive.

 

It may be necessary to use either a Cloud storage service, or one of the many free wifi-transfer apps available.
