Hi all;
I've got a HP ThinClient 620plus that I'm trying to fire up but the monitor gets "no signal" when using the AMD FirePro 2270 Graphics Card DMS-59 and the supplied DVI-i via DMS-59 cable.My monitor has both DVI-D input and a 15-pin f/male connector
The monitor and cable works fine with my desktop in both DVI and 15-pin input
I wanted to try connecting the 9-pin male serial port to the monitor 15-pin but I can't find a 9-pin f/male to 15-pin male cable or a 9-pin female to 15-pin f/male gender converter so I could use my existing cables.
So, what do people use to connect this thinclient to monitors? Or better still, what should I be using?
Thanks, Norm

Sorry, I didn't see your reply - I was supposed to get an email when I got any replies.
I'm not sure I can answer your question. I don't even see any BIOS messages let alone any OS messages. I can see the drive light flashing as though it was loading an OS but all the monitor says is "cable not connected".
Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Hi All,
I bought two of these T620 plus and I'm still no closer to getting these thin clients working.
I can't get either one to "talk" to my monitor. The monitor is Acer X233H LCD. It has a f/male DVI-D input and a f/male 15 pin VGA input.
Both of these inputs work fine when connected to the desktop computer (generic with Gigabyte GA-MA74GMT-S2 motherboard).
Neither of the thin client will work with the aforementioned monitor and I don't know why.
I've plugged the supplied DVI-I cable into the Acer DVI-D input. Nothing! I've bought a DVI-I toDVI-D converter and tried that. Nothing!
I've purchased a DMS-59 to DVI-D cable. Nothing. Also a converter DVI-D to 15-pin VGA. Nothing. Also a 9-pin to 15-pin converter to try on the VGA output.
Three cables later, one gender changer, and one DVI-D to 15-pin conver and I still can't get it to display anything on the monitor.
I've run out of ideas. I need help.
