Hi @Jakes32,

For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
I see from the post that your HP Slate 10 tablet turns off randomly, I'll try my best to help you with this,
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
What is the product number of this computer? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
Does the tablet turns off completely or is the screen doing what it's supposed to and going into hibernation to save battery charge?
When try to wake it up does it show the HP logo and reboot, or are you immediately back at the launcher screen?
Is the device charging normally?
In the meantime, let's try these steps to ensure we have followed it correctly
Perform a Hard Reset on the Tablet: With the tablet powered off, press and hold the volume down, volume up, and power buttons at the same time.
If the issue persists, I would suggest this could be a hardware issue, I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for further assistance. Please fill in the product details to get the tech support number.
