Hello! Today I turned off my computer because I needed to use my other OS (Linux Porteus) which I run from a live USB.  Windows shut down successfully, I plugged in the USB, and started the computer. I pressed Esc and changed the boot device to USB.  Linux menu showed up, I pressed Enter, and then the computer turned off. From this moment, the computer won´t start. The power LED is ON when the battery is installed or the computer is plugged into the socket. Pressing or holding the power button has no effect.  No other LEDs are ON. I tried hard reset, but nothing happened. I feel like something happened to the motherboard, but I would be very happy if it´s something else.

Yes it seems like board has gone bad.

Can you try plugging in AC adapter to power after removing battery and then powering on?

Also try other AC power outlets.

I don't know if this would work, but try restoring BIOS from flash drive. Very faint chance that BIOS for corrupted. Place BIOS file in the USB by running the BIOS .exe file from another computer.
