Hi,
How do I change the default agent pull interval? I know I can do it manually from the control panel on the client, or directly from HPDM, but since i can't send tasks to the client the latter won't work.
I tried changing it on the client to 30 minutes, then caputring an image and deploying it to a new client, but the pull interval reset itself to 1 day.

Agent Pull Interval is in the configuration files of DM Agent.
I'm curious why you're able to deploy an image but cann't send a Configure Agent task after it.
I'm afraid there is no other way to change the parameters than using the Configure Agent task.

The OS is Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB
Image version: 14WWETAJ601#SABA#DABA
Does what reset? The issue here is that the client is set with a 1440 minute pull interval per default. I would like to change this, so when the image is is deployed it has a 30 min pull interval. If that is possible. If i have to manually change it by logging in to every client and make the changes in the control panel, it would be quite a hassle.

You mentioned it resets back to 1 day. How/When is this happening while trying to change it?

Sorry, I probably was not clear on that. The client i captured the image from had an agent pull interval set at 30 mins (set in the control panel). I was under the impression that when i deployed that image to a new client it would remember the 30 min interval, but it just deplyed with the default 1440 min.

Is there no solution to this? It seems like a minor thing, but I cant find any answer in the admin guide or anywhere else, but surely I cant be the only one who want to change the default pull inteerval from 1 day to something a bbit quicker.

Hi Chen,
Fair enough, someone should concider changing that to an hour by default. since you have the option of having the agent pull tasks, I dont understand why default would be one day. I get that if you have 1000 clients asking to pull information every 5th minutte, that would generate some traffic, but at least then you would be able to change the pull interval without having to wait one whole day. 🙂
As to your question. This is somewhat strange. When I have my clients report in, I get the "the operation may take a long time because the device in red is behind an NAT".
However if I delete all visible clients, and have HPDM manually search for them I am actually able to send a task before having the NAT issue again. I assume this is due to our network configuration, but thats another department and that won't be changed.
