HP Compaq 6000 Pro Small Form
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I can't seem to find the exact Specs on this pc.  Don't have access to the OS right now, it is a newly aquired machine that is not running.  I found some info on it but came with many different configurations, how do I know Exactly what it has inside as far as CPU etc.  Isn't there somewhere I can plug in the S.N. or P.N.?  I tried to no avail.

Thanks, pcpunk

Came with Windows 7 Pro and can only assume it is 64bit

Thanks, pc

Hmm, I'm not finding any specs with that P/N.

What you can do is try plugging that P/N in along with the serial number (S/N) at http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx and see if it narrows down the hardware options.  Otherwise, the link in that first post is the most information you'll be able to get without looking up the hardware in Windows via hardware IDs.

If you post the specific P/N and which OS you're running we can get you the specific information.  Here's an overview of the 6000 series which includes hardware options for your model.  http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-c01865794
