800 G2 Mini 35W
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Our hospital uses 800 G2s in Human Scale workstations carts. Unfortunately, these last carts do not have access to the units themselves as they are in a locked compartment. We use the power from keyboard feature to help lower incidents of end-users shutting down the workstation.

This is where the problem comes into play. We use Dragon USB Powermic II. If the end-user accidently shuts down the PC, the PC goes through the shutdown process, appears to have shutdown, but the power button stays lit. When we power it down by hand and power it back on, the unit remains in the same state and never POSTs. We at that point have to remove the microphone, manually power down the unit, power it back on, and the workstation is OK until the unit is powered down again with the mic plugged in. We cannot have analysts up on the units around the clock fixing this problem. Other USB devices do not cause this issue. BIOS has been update to latest November 2016 revision. Please help!!
