I'm having problems finding correct syntax for the _set domain .

What is the correct format for Domain Name, Username, OU?

In advanced thanks

Domain Name , User Name is quite straight forward:

Domain Name: test.com

User Name: Administrator

The item of OU is optional. If you want to put the device in an organizational unit(OU), please input the full LDAP path that contains the RFC 1779 format name of the OU. For example, OU=subOU,OU=testOU,DC=domain,DC=Domain,DC=com.”

Hi,

Is there a please that this "_Set Domain" Template can be downloded from?
We have just started to use this tool and I dont know how to create a new Template from scratch, so if someone know where I can download it so I can edit that file.

For this template, you don't actually need to create your own. It's very straight forward and only needs some input. See attached screenshot.

Hover the mouse over the specific field and you will see the hint about the details.

Hi,

Could you please try attaching the .png file instead of paste it directly into the message? For some reasons, it couldn't be shown in my  web-browser.

Those templates start with "_" are the default template created during the installation process. Usually it has some connections with DB scheme, with that being said, we don't support import base template (the templates start with_) manually.

In your case, if you're using the WES device and DM version are above 4.7. You should be able the see the _set domains template

Hi,

I can only see "_Set CA Certificates", "_Set OS Configuration" and "_Set Password"
We are only using HP T520 with ThinkPro 5.2 and 6.1 OS.

So is there a way that I can see _Set Domain Template?

HPDM currently doesn't support DOMAIN task for ThinPro operating system.

Just FYI, ThinPro 6.2 will be the first version to support AD from OS point of view. You can contact the support team in your team for special.
