HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation Desktop PC (4Y0H8AV)

Hi

I've recently set up the PC from new but the wake up time from sleep is longer than I'm used to.

Is there a way to speed this up please?

I've currently have the screen turn off set at 15 mins and the device sleep to 45 mins

These are my system details:

System Model HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation Desktop PC
System Type x64-based PC
System SKU 86D04EA#ABU
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700, 2100 Mhz, 16 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date HP U50 Ver. 02.04.02, 06/11/2023
SMBIOS Version 3.6
Embedded Controller Version 18.03
BIOS Mode UEFI
BaseBoard Manufacturer HP
BaseBoard Product 895C
BaseBoard Version KBC Version 12.03.05

Thanks in advance for any 'pointers'

Cheers

Dean

Possibly you may have a lot of bloatware that is loading.  Look in the windows event viewer for timeouts.  I got rid of McAfee as it kept phoning home and some of the servers it was trying to contact were timing out after 30 seconds.  Maybe they fixed that by now.  If you do not see any timeouts then no problem.
