Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

adding cpu to Z800 5 beeps and no start, moved it to the other CPU slot and it works but just beeps with both installed. I'm not much with these so please bear with me. 🙂

are you on the latest bios? earlier bios's required that "BOTH" cpu's SPEC codes must match also only "RETAIL" spec codes should be used "QL" or engineering cpu's  may not work correctly

 

last, for dual cpu's........ the memory banks must be filled in the proper sequence in groups of

3 (that's 3 dimms per bank) FOR EACH CPU
