hpdm-2.PNGThis error comes up whenever I click the Tools->Repository Management->Content button. All of the left sidebar options (easy tools configuration, easy tools settings, etc) that you see behind this error message show up as just completely blank/empty when I hit okay here.

My theory: it looks like the paths are strange. C:\inetpub\ftproot\/repository" is mentioned several times. That must be a typo somewhere right? There shouldn't be a path with a back and a forward slash in it, should there?

Can someone help me figure out where this is? I inherited the HPDM admin duties from someone else and was never formally trained on this stuff, so I apologize for having a lot of newb questions in advance.

Hi there - this issue was "resolved" by upgrading from 4.6 SP4 to 4.7 (then the SP's after that. The new 4.7 screenshot (below) helped me figure it out by saying "there should be a folder named Repository"...there was not. It must have gotten removed at some point. So, the better wording in 4.7's settings helped out here!

Hi Excedrin,

Your right, The file name doesn't need to include the /, Windows says:

The "Request Content Error" Looks like it can't request the files in the folder.

Try to remove the / but not the other \.

Thanks for the reply - where is that field with the \/ in it editable? The error message in my screenshot is not editable fields. And the Tools->Repository Management->highlight master repository in list, press edit-> shows this.

If there are text or registry files to edit, I haven't found them yet. Thanks for the help! 🙂

Hi Excedrin,

I can't see the screenshots:

Was this a laptop bought new or an old refurbished one?
Please also sent the laptop details like type number, ... so i can have a look.

Oh, by the way - can you see the screenshots now? There was something weird last week where after you told me you couldn't see them, my entire thread just disappeared entirely. I could see it while logged in as Excedrin, but when I switched to a different browser (i.e. logged out) and tried to go to the thread's URL...it was gone!

But now all of a sudden it is back. Hopefully HP's forums are working again!

weird...i see now that my pictures from LAST week are working when signed out. But the picture I just uploaded today just now is showing the "no photo" error too. This is really weird...I wonder if there is like, a 4 day delay before pictures work??

Hi,

Yes that is true, I can see them and HP had problems with going to notifications etc...
I hope they fix all the broken things.
Notifications was allowed from France (My server)
But not from Belgium (My home)

Friendly Regards,
Yoloserver
