Dear community,
in our comany network we are facing problem downloading drivers via HP Softpaq Download Manager.
Everything worked OK on version 4.2.4.0. After an update to version 4.3.0.0 application is unable to connect to ftp.hp.com.
We use Cisco S100V proxy server where authenticated access is enabled for specific users to ftp.hp.com.
I checked the logs on proxy and there is no denied traffic.
HTTPS decryption is disabled for this traffic.
Can you please advise me what could be the problem?

Hello Joe,
I would request you to follow the below steps:
1. Uninstall the Previous HP Softpaq download manager from the unit.
2. And install the following Download manager:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/HP_SDM_Setup.exe
3. After run the HP softpaq download manager :
Click Tools - > Configuration Options.
And Select Default operating : Check Software updates for this model.
And hit save and Exit.
4. Close HP Softpaq download manager.
5. And open the HP Softpaq download manager, then it should detect latest updates.
Please keep me updated if it works.
