HP Expert Avatars [ Edited ]

We have some exciting news to share with you.   You may notice that some contributors now have a  or   avatar next to their forum handles.

Here on the HP forum, we want to help support and recognize top contributing members of our community. One of the most visible ways to identify people who have done an outstanding job of helping others is through this new HP Expert avatar.

If you see someone with a , you know that he or she works for HP. If you see someone with a , he or she doesn’t work for HP. He or she may be a customer just like you who wants to help others.

To receive an avatar, a community member must:

• Demonstrate practical knowledge through his or her posts, and
• Have their efforts appreciated by the community.

Anyone who provides a significant amount of valuable content on this community is eligible to become an HP Expert.  The program features benefits that may include access to a private board connecting you to HP and other top members of the community, PC and printer product loans, special briefings, additional permissions on the HP Forums, the HP Expert Avatar, and more. To become an HP Expert, simply continue contributing to the community. As you rise through the ranks, we’ll let you know when you qualify for Expert status.
