Hey everyone...

I have the same issue as the original poster and it is driving me crazy.  I can not find a solution anywhere!  I have been at it for days and just hitting dead ends.

I have an Intel 330 180 GB SSD and I am trying to get it working correctly in an HP Pavilion 9-1130.  I have dealt with both HP and Intel tech support and have gotten nowhere.

HP's motherboard documentation and PC Wizard both state that the motherboard is running at 6 GB/sec, which should be SATA 3.  However, the drive itself is only running at SATA 2.

Was this issue ever resolved?

Based on all the information I have digested in the last few days, the issue is either a faulty SSD drive, outdated drivers or incompatabilites between the AMD chipset and Intel SSD drives.  I can't prove any of them are true though...

Here is some more gory detail for anyone who might be struggling with the same issue and/or has resolved it.  http://communities.intel.com/message/172780

Thanks for any help you can provide...

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
