Hi all,
I have several HP models HP EliteDesk 8000 SFF, 800G1 SFF. In front of PC's case have audio combo port ( Headphone / Mic ) . I plugged some headset device with combo jack 3.5 but Windows just recognize only 1 feature ( Mic in or Headphone) at the time.
So, could i use both features ( mic and headphone) at the same time ?
Thank you very much,

Hello HongDanh,
You should be able to use both at the same time. I'm not sure which jack you're using, but here are a couple things to look over.
First, ensure your Chipset and Audio drivers are up to date (you can get these by going to the support site at support.hp.com, and selecting drivers and downloads, then selecting your product).
Also, make sure your device is able to use both headphone and mic at the same time, and that if your headset has its own drivers, they are up to date as well.
Then, double check your settings in Windows. On your taskbar, you should see an icon that looks like a speaker. Right click this icon, and you will see the option "playback devices." When your combo jack is plugged in, ensure it is set as the default device under both the playback and recording devices tabs.
Hope this helps!
