In-device audio problem

How can I control volume for in-device speaker? Another problem when I attach headphone with the screen, then both the headphone volume and in-device volume working at a time. When I attach headphone with the device, the device volume should be muted by default.  

Is there any hardware audio controller in the device?

I assume when "in-device" is used, the intent is a PC?  HERE IS A GUIDE that will show the user how to control the volume of the audio on a Windows desktop or laptop.

" When I attach headphone with the device, the device volume should be muted by default.  "  That is the way things worked in the past but there seems to be more control of the audio with the newer devices and drivers.  Start with checking in the settings by right clicking on the speaker icon in the lower right corner and pick "playback devices".  Another place to look is in "Windows Setting" page.  Type "audio" in the search box and see if a control panel for the " Conexant High Definition Audio " shows.  Then click on that to explore settings within the audio control.

on my playback devices tab. one of the device is Speakers that I identified as my headphone. When I plugged in headset, it appears in the list with green tick sign. When I plugged off my headset, then the Speakers entry showing Not plugged in. But I didn't found any entry to auto enable/disable built-in (that I call in-device) speakers when I plugged in my headset.

On the left side of that window, look for the settings icon, click on that "Windows Setting" page.  Type "audio" in the search box and see if a control panel for the " Conexant High Definition Audio " shows.  Then click on that to explore settings within the audio control."
