Touch smart 600 1420 uk
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Two short one long bleeps but computer started after a few restarts. Now nothing happens on th screen, Everything sounds good on start up and fans etc but nothing on screen but screen definately good. What can I do to repair video card if this is the problem? My computer is currently in Spain and thus would like to mend myself if possible.

It isn't necessarily the video adapter module that is the culprit.

 

Failed memory and not making it past the POST (power on self test) will result in a black screen as well.

A failed motherboard will also result in a black screen.

 

HP is in Spain and Portugal and they do have Service Centers there.
