HP EliteDesk 800 35W G4 Desktop Mini PC

Hello, I have the HP EliteDesk 800 35W G4 Desktop Mini PC and have a problem on bootup. Whenever I have my Mediasonic Probox USB attached, it will freeze the PC on bootup, sometimes for a couple minutes, sometimes until I reboot it. I have no idea what's causing this issue as it doesn't happen on any other PC, not even my beelink mini pc.

I know I can set the USB to not turn on until after boot, but this isn't an option as I'm running Unraid which needs USB for boot.

I am not sure if it doesn't like the hard drives being formatted as XFS and EXT4, but as I said that's not an issue on any other PC so I can't figure that would be the case.

Any recommendations as this is super annoying and I will have to return this PC if this cannot be accomplished. Thanks.

I don't have an EliteDesk, but many newer PCs are configured to try to boot automatically from any device connected to a USB port.  I have an HP laptop that does this, so I have to ensure no drives (USB sticks or SSDs) are connected when I boot it.

Sorry, but I know of no way to prevent this.

Perhaps others here that are more familiar with Elite Desks can provide you an alternative to disconnecting the devices.
