HP Mini 800 Elitedesk
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I tried to update my BIOS, it asked me to restart the PC and since then I only receive 5 red beeps and 2 white beeps. It will not go into boot. I have checked all cables and connectors but cannot do anything else. Is it possible to "restart" the BIOS?

@Styinuri, welcome to the forum.

Which of these is your computer?

Mine is the 65W (second link you sent).

I read through the suggestions, however I cannot get the machine to boot (cant even get a display on the screen).

I have tried taking out the CMOS battery, tried to hold down the CMOS button. Both do not help.

Does that mean the 24 hour expert period is over, so now no one to assist?

No, @Styinuri, most of us are volunteers so we are not on the Forums 24/7.

The link for this section was a bit obscure, so I don't know if you saw it:

If so, please let me know.

I looked at the link, however I cannot get to the screen that displays anything. The CPU beeps as soon as I put the power in (doesnt even allow me to turn the power on and it is beeping).

Thank you for the additional information, @Styinuri.

Here is a guide that may help you recover your failed BIOS update.  If not, I am not certain that anything will work.
