Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

You might have to contact HP Support if your PC is in warranty and you have a hardware problem.

 

I can't give you a quick solution. But this error can be caused by the following:

 

1. Faulty: memory or other hardware. Check your PC's hardware as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run system and component tests. Do the extended tests.

 

Also run Window's built in Memory Diagnostic Tool to check memory if HP's diagnostic memory test results are negative.

 

Failing RAM or other hardware, if detected by diagnostic tests, would be the lesser of two evils. Easily fixable by replacing the defective component.

 

2. Or a corrupt hardware driver. 

 

Isolating a bad device driver would be a time consuming process.
