As I understand you have tried running the test on the hard drive and it failed with a failure code, I'll try my best to help you with this,
First off, Hats off to you for a job well done as you have tried the basic troubleshooting steps and checked settings on the unit, before posting the query in the HP forums. It is amazing to see how technically competent you are. It is always a privilege to work with tech-savvy customers like you.
I went through the failure code and found this to be an issue with the hard drive. I would suggest you could either contact our HP phone support to have the part replaced/ computer serviced or you can visit our HP Part store to have a replacement part.

Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone numberCase number and phone number appear.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
