Hi:

Did you enable legacy mode and disable secure boot in the BIOS?

You need to do that in order to install and run W7 on your model.  W7 is not compatible with secure boot.

See this guide for what settings to change...

https://www.support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03736054/

How are you installing W7...by USB flash drive, or DVD?

If you are installing W7 from a USB flash drive, you must boot that flash drive from the PC's USB 2 port.

I have never read on this forum where anyone needed the storage drivers to install W7 in that platform.

But, I have zipped up and attached the W7 x64 sata drivers you need below.

To install the driver...

Extract (copy) the files in the folder you unzipped onto a usb flash drive without the folder.

With the flash drive and W7 installation media in the PC, boot from the W7 installation media.

After you select the install now option, select the Drive Options - Advanced menu, then select the Load Driver option.

You should now see the storage driver files listed.

If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

Follow the prompts and hopefully, W7 will install.
