HP stream 11
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

my hp stream laptop will not boot past the hp logo before restarting.  I cannot access the bios.  I believed the computer shut down during an update.  Reinstalling windows or using a boot tool does not work.

Pressing the Esc key to enter the System Setup menu should work, you might have to try it many times, it seems to be an issue with the Stream notebooks.  You should then be able to press F9 to boot from a recovery USB or Windows 10 install USB.

What if the computer is brand new with no recovery cd? I went they initial set up but once got to windows shut it back down to move the power cord. Then went to power up and the dreaded black screen... what do I do now?
