If you are running W10, this should be the correct driver for the smbus controller:

 

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver 

 

 https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72068.exe 

 

If you are running W7, then this would be the one to use:

 

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver 

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp62001-62500/sp62139.exe

Paul, I'll be 80 in a few days.

I'm thinking, which is becoming difficult each passing day, I'll retire and discontinue re-building my 25 plus HP Systems.
