EliteOne 800 G2
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello

I've just taken receipt of 5 new HP EliteOne 800 G2 23" Non-Touch machines. All the PC's are typically imaged using Windows Deployment Services.

I've downloaded sp72515.exe which is the Intel I219 NIC driver pack for Windows 7 64bit and injected these drivers into Windows Deployment Service and updated the LiteTouchPE_x64.wim boot file. Windows has reported this has all gone sweetly and the 6 relevant drivers are all showing as successfully loaded in WDS.

Problem. When I PXE boot the EliteOne 800 G2 Windows Deployment the NIC driver is not recognised by the EliteOne 800 G2.

Wizard Error

A connection to the deployment share (\\<servername>\Deploymentshare$) could not be made. The following networking device did not have a driver installed. PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15B7&SUBSYS_8058103C&REV_31

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the driver directly from Intel...

The 2nd file listed on the left side of the page is for W7 x64.

Injecting the 63 drivers from the Intel download worked a treat. WDS now works perfectly and the EliteOne 800 G2 is building perfectly. :LaughingTears:

That is great news.

Glad to have been of assistance.

I ran into this exact problem on 4/27/16 and your solution worked. Unsure why the cabinet file from HP didn't have the right driver. Thank you for your post!
