Elitedesk 705 G1 DM
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I've an HP Elitedesk 705 G1 Desktop Mini with AMD A8 PRO-7600B CPU (Kaveri family, FM2+ socket, 65W TDP).

In order to increase performances with integrated GPU is possible to upgrade the CPU with A10 models? (for example replace with A10-7800 or A10-7860K) HP BIOS recognize them?

Does exist some A10 CPU models supported?

Thank you

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the computer.  On Page 24 you will find the Processors that are compatible with the motherboard.    These are the Processors that are listed:

Processors (include replacement thermal material)
 AMD A10-7800B, 3.57 GHz
 AMD A8-7600B, 3.1 GHz
 AMD A6-7400B, 3.5 GHz
 AMD A4-7350B, 3.4 GHz

Yes, I've already read that page but the A10-7800B (AMD APU "Pro") is not available because it is a processor available only for OEMs.
For this reason I ask if it is possible to replace with A10-7800 or A10-7860K...

Thank you for the additional information.

The Processors that are listed have been thoroughly tested by HP to assure that they are compatible with the motherboard.  This doesn't necessarily mean that no other Processor will work, it simply means that the ones listed are the only ones that are supported by HP.  If you use a processor that isn't on the list it will not be supported by HP.
