Is there a spare power connector on the motherboard for connecting the power cable to the PCI-e?

That card requires a molex Female connector. (Molex F).
Look at the spare leads from your power supply. Likely you have a spare SATA power lead.
Now adapt with any of these to accomplish your needs:
SATA to SATA splitter SATA male to molex F Short SATA male to molex F
