Hi all, I recently purchased a PNY GTX 1060 DirectX 12 VCGGTX10606PB 6GB video card. I though I had done my homework but the computer wouldn't recognize the card...gave 3 beeps 20 seconds apart during boot up. Having done a little more research I think the version 7 bios on the Formosa motherboard is the problem (or at least one of the problems!). I can find the version 8 bios update, but it says that it's for windows 8.
So...my question is...is it safe to update the bios to version 8 while running windows 10
Thanks

Hi,
Run a complete set of hardware diagnostics before attempting to update the BIOS. A safety factor that you might consider is placing your PC on UPS before doing the BIOS update.
HP has indicated that HP Windows 8 installers should work on Windows 10.
