I need to upgrade my power supply and need to know the type of connectors needed for the DVD drive. I purchased a Micro ATX power supply but it did not have the right connector for the Ultra Slim-tray SuperMulti DVD Burner(6c) in my HP 510 p030. Any recommendations on a power supply that will have the correct connectors would be appreciated.

I would like to take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums. I understand that you would like to upgrade the power supply for your HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p030 and would like to know what power supply will have the correct connectors for Ultra Slim-tray SuperMulti DVD Burner(6c) I'd like to help you with this case.
I tried searching for the power supply but could only find 180W power supplies from HP for this model However, the DVD drive's power source would be a Slimline SATA DC power receptacle. DC Power Requirement 5 VDC ± 5%-100 mV ripple p-p DC Current 5 VDC - 1000 mA typical, 1600 mA maximum
4 SATA from the above picture should be the one.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! 🙂
