Hi,anyone know the best/up-grade CPU to speed things up which doesn't break the bank?

That is a decision you will have to make. We have no idea as to the limits of your budget. 

 

It also depends on what the currently installed CPU is and your useage plans for the PC.

 

If you have an Intel Core i5 CPU installed already, then upgrade to an SSD.

 

 

 Compatible CPUs for the  are shown at the following HP document.

Use HP PartSurfer to find the compatible HP CPU part numbers.
