I'm about to upgrade my RAM from 10gb RAM to 16GB of RAM and the 500-200t only has two memory card slots. When I replace them (2 x 8gb cards) I'll have two 5gb cards left over. I need to know the exact spec's of the left over cards? because I want to put those cards In my 4slot Dell XPS 8500 which already has 2 x 4gb cards in it. And the spec's on the Dell cards are DDR3 1600MHz cards. Can anyone tell me the spec's on the HP 500-200t cards?

Please see the HP Pavilion 500-200t Product Specifications and Configurable Options page for the information you are requesting. Based on the specs, the factory memory in your computer should be 10 GB (1 x 2 GB, 1 x 8 GB) DDR3 PC3-12800. The speed is DDR3-1600MHz. The size is a guess based on your statement of "I'll have two 5gb cards left over." Memory comes in sizes based on binary progression... example... 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, etc. There is no such thing as a 5GB card.
As for putting in your Dell... it may or may not work depending it's latency and/or refresh rates, or if it is dual channel.

I'm wrong, I'm going through a memory card fiasco with all my p/c's. I meant if I could change out my notebook's 1 x 4GB for an 1 x 8GB card at a total of 16GB because it has 12GB in it already. As far as the Dell is concerned I was talking about my HP 500-200t desktop having 2 slots and I wanted to replace them with 2 x 8GB cards then putting the 1 x 4 and the 1 x 8GB cards into my Dell since it has 4 slots...it can have up to 32GB memory. I think I explained it right...lol
