I think I must update my BIOS from 5.20 to 5.23, right?

A BIOS update will not solve problem.
Your Motherboard will only support four GB's of RAM.

The Intel 945G chipset (found in that computer) has a limitation of 4GB under a 32bit OS. That limit is not fully addressed by the chip. It has no relation to the BIOS. This 3.25 GB limit is a universal limit of the chipset. Source.
