Welcome to HP Support Forum. No, it does not have spare M.2 slot for M.2 SSD. It ONLY has one M.2 slot for wireless cars (WLAN) which is occupied by a wireless card already

I am looking at the motherboard specifications HP provides to see what is happening on your motherboard. Please see here.
I can't find the typical M.2 slot and corresponing set screws for available M.2 form factors found on other motherboards. Maybe you can see it.
You should contact HP Support about this.
I did not see an M.2 SSD listed here as a storage/boot device option. The specs show an M.2 slot for an SSD but I can't see it.
The BIOS on your PC must also have options to boot to an M.2 PCIe 3x4 or SATA storage drive.
