Im about to intall a graphics card. Is it necessary to disable the onbourd video that comes with the motherboard. If so, how do I do it?

Hi:
There should be no need to disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS.
The PC will detect the add-on graphics card and automatically disable the onboard graphics.
I just hope you didn't buy a new or very recent model graphics card because they won't work with the legacy BIOS your PC has.

Your on the mark. Hopefully the OP bought a non UEFIvBIOS card.
