Hei Folks!

 

I would like to know if it is safe to run gtx 1050 on my  HP Pavilion p6-2469eo, that has 300 watt psu?

What is the quality of the psu?

I understand that you are looking to know if you can install GEFORCE GTX 1050 on your computer. 

Don't worry, I will be glad to provide my suggestion.

Have you checked the specifications of your computer and the graphics card selected?

For the GEFORCE GTX 1050 specifications, please click here

The PCI express slot on your computer is 1 PCI Express x16 (Gen2.0) and the PCI slot required for your the graphics card is PCIe 3.0

You can install it on your computer, however, there will a lag in performance as the graphics card as the card you have selected will work at the speed of PCI Express x16 (Gen2.0).
