Hi @LesfromMtl,

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! This is a great location to get resolutions and interact with experts from the community. After reading your post I see that you require information about the lifespan of a specific monitor.t will be a delight to assist you here.:)

You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. It has been an absolute privilege to share this platform with you.:) It is paramount to assist you here. 🙂

Please note that the average support provided for an HP product is about 3 years. So going by this the lifespan of any HP product could be about 3 years after which technology changes and support seizes as the product is not manufactured anymore.

In the first year of the monitor’s warranty, hardware failures are covered and the monitor is either repaired or replaced. Before the factory warranty for a year ends, A customer has an option to extend the warranty for another year if required and avail the same benefits.

So the average shelf life of the monitor is also 3 years.
