Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have to replace the SSD in my computer. The original was 128 gig. Could I put in a larger one (512G)?

Yes, you should be fine with that...512 GB, 1 TB NVMe.

Thanks. HP said I can’t go bigger.

Any suggestions on what make of ssd to buy?

You're very welcome.

Theoretically, the sky's the limit.

The Crucial SSD report indicates that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB for your PC.

Your PC's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

While a Gen 4 SSD will work, it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.

This chart shows the maximum transfer speeds that each PCIe slot generation can provide.

I'm partial to the Samsung 980 PCIe Gen 3.0 models.

The Crucial P3's would probably also be very good as well.
