Hi everyone, I searched the topics before and thought I had a handle on it, but upgraded power supplies I see on Amazon, don't look like they'd fit into my PC. So I'm hoping you can help? I want to upgrade my 250W power supply to something a little higher for a new processor and video graphics card. I've been researching what upgrades are allowed for my pc, but not sure what kind of power supply to get? Any help? Will I need to get anything else to make sure my pc will run faster? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Your PC is about nine years old. I think you have reached the point of component upgrade diminishing returns.

Don't waste money trying to upgrade this PC.

Buy a new HP PC.

Regards

@Kilgore74,

@Grzwacz  's  reply is based on the concerns for the "video" card aspect.  Any graphic card manufactured after Aug 1012 would  have UEFIvBIOS.  Your circa 2009 unit does not support UEFI.
